What’s great about them?
- Dates are great natural sweeteners designed by Mother Nature, providing a natural pick-me-up to help ward off fatigue and tiredness, in particular when experiencing those sugar cravings at 3am.
- They are high in soluble fibre which helps to alleviate constipation by keeping bowel movements regular.
- Nut butters are high in plant-based fats and protein, and studies have shown walnuts can help to improve brain function.
- 2 medjool dates
- 2 teaspoons of nut butter (almond, cashew, brazil nut)
- 2 walnuts
How to make them!
Slice open each date (avoid cutting them in half completely) and remove the pits.
Add a teaspoon of nut butter to each date, then top with a walnut.
Enjoy with a cuppa at 3am, or whenever you start feeling the onset of sugar cravings.
