Meet your shift work consultant, Audra Starkey

Hi there! My name is Audra and I’m a clinically trained nutritionist, accredited trainer, author – and most importantly ex shift work veteran – so I know how incredibly challenging it is to stay healthy whilst working irregular hours and what is required for effective shift worker support.

Over the years, I’ve been devouring all things to do with health from a holistic perspective, which has led to the culmination of The Healthy Shift Worker. I’m currently taking on new clients who are seeking help with their metabolic health – in particular with weight loss, body composition optimisation and blood sugar regulation.

I sincerely look forward to speaking with you to develop a tailored plan that will make a positive change in your life – both in and out of the workplace!

Initial consultation for new clients

70 minutes

In this 70 minute appointment we will review your current health status, set some achievable goals and establish a plan moving forward.

A treatment plan will be emailed to you after the consultation.

Follow up consultation

30 minutes

Follow-up consultations involve reviewing what was discussed in the first consultation, a progress report, an interpretation of the latest test results (if applicable), and further nutritional, supplement and lifestyle adjustments as required.

Being aware of so many little factors has made it easy to correct and improve on and has all absolutely helped. A few months ago I'd be waking up every few hours several times a night. Now I'd say 6 nights a week I sleep completely through. Hardly any of that "panicky-waking up I've slept through my alarm" feeling I'd get and wake myself up during the night.
