Shift work places unique demands on the human body.
While most organisations focus on operational training and fatigue policies, very few employees receive education on how to manage the biological impact of working outside traditional hours.
This training fills that gap.
Our Shift Work Ready Program builds circadian health literacy, giving employees the knowledge and tools to work with their body clocks rather than against them. They’ll learn practical strategies for sleep, energy, and alertness—things most workplaces never teach.
This isn’t about motivation—it’s about training the body for shift work, so your team performs better, feels better, and stays longer.
Meet your program instructor
My name is Audra Starkey and I’m a clinically trained nutritionist, former Qantas trainer, author – and most importantly ex shift worker veteran – so I know how incredibly challenging it is to stay healthy whilst working irregular hours.
Over the years, I’ve been devouring all things to do with shift work health from a holistic perspective, which has led to the culmination of these purpose-built training resources and seminars for organisations who rely on shift workers. My training follows a Holistic Lifestyle Medicine Approach, you can learn more here.
Why Organisations Invest in Shift Work Ready Programs
Supporting shift workers isn’t just good for employee wellbeing — it also benefits the entire organisation.
Companies that invest in shift worker education often see improvements in:
• Fatigue awareness and management
• Workplace safety
• Staff retention
• Absenteeism
• Employee engagement
• Long-term workforce sustainability
When employees understand how shift work affects their biology, they are far better equipped to manage the demands of their role.

The Shift Work Ready Framework
The 3-pillar program follows a practical roadmap designed specifically for employees working irregular hours.
It translates circadian science into simple, actionable strategies that shift workers can apply immediately to improve energy, recovery and long-term health.
Pillar 1 – Set Expectations & Understand the Body Clock
Help your workforce understand the biological realities of shift work — why fatigue, sleep disruption and digestive issues are common when working against the body clock. Setting these expectations early helps employees make better decisions around sleep, recovery and daily habits.
Pillar 2 – Build Practical Chrono-Habits
Employees learn simple, timing-based strategies for sleep, meals, light exposure and movement that support circadian rhythms. These habits help improve alertness on shift, energy levels, and overall wellbeing.
Pillar 3 – Support Long-Term Behaviour Change
This isn’t a one-off seminar that employees forget a week later. Staff receive ongoing support through a private community and weekly coaching calls, helping them maintain healthy routines, reduce fatigue-related risks, and support long-term workforce retention.
